About the treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections work by gently relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines, giving skin a chance to soften and recover. The result is natural, never frozen, and always discussed openly with you first.

The active ingredient, botulinum toxin, causes treated muscles to relax. This softens existing dynamic lines (the ones that form when you move your face) and over time helps heal static lines (the ones you see at rest). The effect is a fresher, more rested version of you.

TreatmentSmall, precise injections are placed using a fine needle. Most clients describe the sensation as minimal. Treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Immediately afterSmall injection sites may be visible briefly. Avoid touching, pressing or lying on the treated area for 4 hours after treatment.

Results developYou'll begin to notice softening from day 3. Full results are visible around day 14. A follow-up is available if needed.

FAQs.
Most clients describe the injections as a minor sting, lasting only a second. The needles used are very fine, and Pea works efficiently to keep your experience as comfortable as possible. Topical numbing is available on request.
You can expect softer expression lines and a more rested, refreshed appearance. Results at Modbod are intentionally natural. You'll still be expressive and recognisably you.
Dynamic lines (formed by muscle movement) respond best and will soften significantly. Static lines (visible at rest) improve gradually with repeated treatments as the skin has more opportunity to heal.
Results generally last 3 to 5 months, depending on the product used, areas treated, and your individual metabolism. With regular treatment, many clients find their results extend over time as the muscles adapt.
For the first 4 hours: avoid touching, pressing, massaging or lying on the treated area. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, heat treatments or alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid other facial treatments, waxing, IPL or laser in the treated area for at least one week. Arrive makeup-free, and avoid applying makeup for 24 hours following treatment.
Anti-wrinkle injections are a safe and well-established treatment when performed by a qualified practitioner. Common temporary effects can include minor redness, swelling or bruising at injection sites. These typically resolve within a few days.

Are you fit and well?
You must be well on the day of treatment. Any form of cold or flu, infection, inflammation, or unmanaged autoimmune condition may increase the risk of side effects and treatment will need to be rescheduled. If you're unsure, please contact us before your appointment.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Anti-wrinkle injections are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please wait until your journey is complete before booking. We're happy to help you plan ahead in the meantime.
Vitamins, supplements & medications
Many supplements and medications can thin the blood, increasing bruising risk. Where possible, avoid blood-thinning products for two weeks before your appointment. This includes fish oils, green tea, aspirin, ibuprofen, Voltaren, high-dose vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, turmeric and alcohol.
No makeup
Please arrive to your appointment makeup-free. To reduce the risk of infection, no makeup should be applied for 24 hours following treatment. Skincare and SPF can be resumed after this period.
