Dermal Fillers.
Considered injectable treatments to gently restore lost volume and softly contour — performed with restraint, never overdone. Discussed openly and honestly at consultation.
About the treatment
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid to gently restore volume, soften lines and quietly enhance your natural features. At Modbod, the approach is always restrained — results should look like you, only better.
Volume restored,
naturally.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally found in the skin. They are used to restore volume lost through ageing, soften deeper lines and folds, and gently enhance facial contour. Results are immediate and fully reversible.
Pea's philosophy is simple: less is more. Every filler treatment is approached with restraint and a deep understanding of facial anatomy built over more than a decade of practice. You will never leave looking overdone.
- LipsNatural-looking lip enhancement and definition — subtle volume, improved shape and softened lip lines.
- CheeksGentle restoration of cheek volume and contour that has softened or descended with age.
- Nasolabial foldsSoftening of the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
- Jawline and chinDefinition and contouring of the lower face for improved structure and balance.
- Tear troughsCareful treatment of the hollow under the eye — assessed thoroughly at consultation as this is a technically demanding area.
- Other areasAdditional areas are discussed at consultation. Pea will only recommend what is genuinely appropriate for your face.

Dermal Filler
FAQs.
Modbod uses hyaluronic acid fillers — a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds moisture, making it ideal for restoring volume and hydration in the skin. It is fully biodegradable and reversible with a dissolving enzyme called hyaluronidase.
Most clients find filler treatment very comfortable. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and most filler products also contain lidocaine which further reduces any discomfort. Some areas such as the lips can be more sensitive — Pea works carefully and checks in with you throughout.
Results typically last 9 to 18 months depending on the area treated, the product used and your individual metabolism. Areas with more movement such as the lips tend to metabolise filler faster. Cheek and jawline filler generally lasts longer.
With regular maintenance, many clients find they need less product over time as the cumulative effect of treatment builds.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be fully dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is one of the key safety advantages of HA fillers over other filler types. Pea carries hyaluronidase at all appointments and is trained in its use.
Avoid touching, pressing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, alcohol and excessive heat for 24 hours. Avoid other facial treatments, laser or IPL for two weeks. Sleep on your back if possible for the first night. SPF daily is always recommended.

Important
pre-treatment information.
Are you fit and well?
You must be well on the day of treatment. Any form of cold or flu, infection, inflammation or unmanaged autoimmune condition may increase the risk of side effects and treatment will need to be rescheduled. If you're unsure, please contact us before your appointment.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Dermal fillers are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please wait until your journey is complete before booking. We're happy to help you plan ahead in the meantime.
Vitamins, supplements & medications
Many supplements and medications can thin the blood, increasing bruising risk. Where possible, avoid blood-thinning products for two weeks before your appointment. This includes fish oils, green tea, aspirin, ibuprofen, Voltaren, high-dose vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, turmeric and alcohol.
No makeup
Please arrive to your appointment makeup-free. To reduce the risk of infection, no makeup should be applied for 24 hours following treatment. Skincare and SPF can be resumed after this period.
